Polo Barrera, NVA, selling prints

NVA member Polo Barrera recently had a show at Gallery9 in Norwood, MA. He's now selling prints of his collection on display there.

Prints and Web of Art

All the paintings of my recent series, currently at Gallery 9, are available as prints (click prints above). Please check out Gallery 9's link and see the talent. Kim Weineck, the gallery director, is also the founder of NVA(Neponset Valley Artists), of which I'm a member. This group meets every Thursday and paints +, in addition to painting field trips. These artists are also members of the FAA (Foxboro Art Association). Some of these artists. including myself, exhibit their work at The Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place. And then there's my wife, Ann Gorbett, who is also involved in this web.

NVA in the Walpole Times!

NVA displayed at the Walpole Arts and Music Festival last Saturday. If you check out Thursday's edition of the Walpole Times you'll see Tony Donovan and Nancy Bacevich on the front page!

Awards for NVA members!

Wow! FOUR of my students won awards at the Foxboro Art Association Fall show!  NVAers Nancy Bacevich, Frank Quinn, Tony Donovan and Haydi Hurley!! Congratulations! This is amazing news. More info to come.

I just came back from a very focused class and had to post something because I was excited to share.

For anyone local, there's an reception for the show at the Art Gallery at Patriot Place this coming Saturday, October 8th from 2-4pm. For more information, check out the Foxboro Art Association website.

The NVA enjoyed our time at the Walpole Arts and Music Festival. I stopped in for a spell with my girls and brought lunch and spent some time with the artists and other vendors there for the day.

Walpole Arts and Music Festival Oct 1, 2011

The Neponset Valley Artists will be displaying some work and painting at the Walpole Arts and Music Festival Saturday, October 1st from 10-4 in Stone Field, Walpole, MA/Blackburn Hall in case of rain.

Stop by to meet the talented NVA artists and learn about art instruction or just watch some great work in process!
